Sirens and Superheroes at Free Community Event

Hundreds of families flocked to Meanwhile Block to celebrate the “Salute to Hometown Heroes” in Colorado Springs, and Junk.com joined in on the fun.

Organized by Amplify Events Inc., the family-friendly event included food trucks, live music, inflatables, face painting, giveaways, therapy horses, and beloved fairytale characters. Junk.com drove a colorful junk removal truck into the thriving Touch-A-Truck zone where kids of all ages were invited to climb aboard and explore.

The junk truck was a smash success with all the young truck-lovers. Inquisitive children learned about the truck’s role clearing clutter from the community to make space for what matters.

Making Meaningful Connections for a Great Cause

The team at Junk.com was ecstatic to join all the local vendors and nonprofits sharing their services with the community. Proceeds from the community event benefited Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center, which provides critical wellness and transition services to military members and their loved ones.
