The Junk.com truck delights and inspires at a Touch-a-Truck event for families near Charlotte, NC.
This past July 25th, the bright Junk.com truck made its debut at the Stowe Family YMCA’s Touch-a-Truck event. Kids of all ages were invited to climb aboard, honk the horn, and learn all about how Junk.com makes junk disappear.
Families, first responders, and vehicle enthusiasts were invited to a summer evening of exploration in Belmont. Fire trucks, bulldozers, and more working vehicles joined the lineup—but Junk.com’s Charlotte team brought surprise delight with their eco-conscious junk hauler.
Kids had a blast discovering the cool cleanup truck and squeezing their adorable truck-shaped stress balls.
“This event reminded us that sometimes, the most unexpected vehicles make the biggest impact,” said Nicole Turturici, CEO of Junk.com. “We loved giving kids a peek into what we do—and showing that helping your community can start with something as simple as picking up junk.”
Team members from the junk crew in Charlotte answered questions, handed out swag, and shared laughs with the curious young visitors.
Junk.com uses local Touch-a-Truck events to connect with the communities they serve. The junk truck continues to be a crowd-pleasing favorite at these family events.
